Financial Aid Check Distribution

(Residual Checks)

The Division of Accounting & Financial Services prints the financial aid checks for students of the University.  These checks are available after the first day of classes for upper division students and will be mailed to the student's home address. Checks for first time borrowers for Federal Stafford, Federal Plus, and Federal Perkins loans will be mailed thirty days after class begins in accordance with federal guidelines. These checks are for the residual amount, after payment of fees, from federal, state and privately-supported student financial aid programs, and are cooperatively administered by this Division and the Office of Student Financial Assistance.

Questions regarding residual checks should be directed by calling the Division of Student Accounting Services at 622-1232 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
